“Christa, excellent work on this paper! I like how you seemlessly integrated Gerbner’s theory, with statistical information about people’s attitudes towards crime.
In particular, I am grateful that you reviewed such a program/genre. It is amazing how so many of these shows have been on the air for years to the point that it seems part of everyday life. Many shows come and go in a flash but crime dramas do seem to have a long shelf life.
